NEW!
Moose's owners have put together a new video of Moose for 2010. Click here to view it.

This should be an excellent cross to Xena, who is Sunup Ranch and Pitzer Ranch bred top and bottom (Zan Parr Bar, Two Eyed Jack, Watch Joe Jack, etc). She has great foundation bloodlines, that scream quality working horse and versatility! This foal should have it all- conformation, build, disposition, athleticism, solid bloodlines, and the extra bonus of color - perlino dun, dunskin, dunalino, cremello dun, perlino, palomino, cremello, or buckskin would be the color possibilities from this cross. Also, both Moose and Xena are tested HERDA Negative (N/N), making their 2011 foal guarenteed to also be HERDA Negative (N/N).
Check back this summer for updates! :)

2009 Foal

 Hollywood Zan Ellie, "Ellie"
2009 Dun AQHA Filly

Xena foaled a beautiful dun filly on May 14, 2009. Ellie is absolutely gorgeous- pretty head, big hip, nice shoulder, and friendly! Very athletic, smart, and willing filly. Dripping in dun factor too! Xena sure does stamp her foals...she's going to be one nice horse! I sold Ellie as a weanling; she is now owned by Bob and Ann Miller, of Timberlake Mules, in Illinois. I can't wait to see Ellie under saddle in a few years, and eventually producing some topnotch mules for you. I wish you the best of luck with her, she's a fantastic filly!

2006 Foal

Pretty Buck Cisco, "Cisco"
2006 Dun AQHA Colt (Gelding)

Star produced her first foal on May 1, 2006. A really pretty dun colt (gelded as a weanling). I sold Cisco as a yearling; he is now owned by Robert and Julia Merson in New Mexico. They say he is very calm, level headed, and not spooky. He is now at their trainer's (Lindsey Killingsworth) being started under saddle and ridden. Sounds like they plan on trying out
reining and working cattle in the future with Cisco.
I am so happy that Cisco is with such a nice family; and he certainly is maturing into a beautiful horse. I continue to wish them the best of luck with Cisco...he's a good one!

September 2009 pictures, as Cisco continues his training under saddle...he's looking FANTASTIC! Trotting, trotting over poles, loping, and although it is hard to tell in the picture, his trainer says he is starting to get under himself in the stop.

I think he is a great mover, and with more time...he's going to be a really cute stopper!
