About Us...
My horses are used for trail riding, and a couple of my mares have been used as broodmares in the past and present. I produce a very limited amount of foals; my goal is quality, not quantity. Most of my mares are currently being used for riding only, but may be bred in the future, and I currently have one mare that is used as a broodmare only. Any foals that I raise are handled daily, starting day one, and have a solid foundation started of basic groundwork put on them even before weaning.
My horses are fed grass hay three time per day, Purina's Strategy or Purina's Equine Senior (depending on the horse) grain twice a day, and have fresh water and salt blocks available at all times. They are on a regular de-worming and hoof care schedule. Vaccinations (EWE, Tetanus, Rabies, and WNV) are done every spring.
A great vet and farrier are a must when owning horses.
